China Railway Construction Corporation (International) Limited (“CRCCI”) was officially incorporated in September 2012 with a registered capital of 3 billion yuan and is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (“CRCC”). Committed to overseas market, CRCCI is the spearhead and main force of CRCC in speeding up its “Going Global” pace and achieving its strategy of “Prioritizing Overseas Businesses”.
CRCCI is active in more than 50 national markets across Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Africa and the Americas, with 40 registered business entities in 33 countries and regions. CRCCI has formed a global business layout and regional linkage mechanism backed by its 5 regional headquarters of North Africa, Middle East, the Americas, Eurasia and Asia-Pacific, and the Africa Division, with special focus on six core markets: Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Russia, Chile and Hong Kong.
CRCCI Headquarter has 12 departments and 3 professional functional support departments: Investment Division, Financial Shared Service Center and Corporate Management Research Office. Affiliate units include 5 regional headquarters, 1 regional division and the Beijing International Trading Company. A three-level management system of CRCCI Headquarter – regional headquarter / division – country/project management office has been principally established. Among its 2700 employees, 67% are of foreign nationality.
Over the past decade, CRCCI has kept pace with the national “Going Global” strategy, the “Belt and Road Initiatives”, Connectivity, Global Cooperation on Production Capacity and other major deployments, and taken CRCC’s strategy of “Prioritizing Overseas Businesses” as the guide to give full play to the advantageous role of a platform company in business marketing, resource integration, organizational leadership, value creation, etc. CRCCI has undertaken the implementation of a series of major projects, such as the Algeria Bejaia Expressway Connecting Line, Malaysia Four Seasons Hotel, Qatar World Cup Main Stadium-Lusser Stadium, and Moscow Metro. CRCCI has also won many honors, such as National Civilization Unit, Zhan Tianyou Prize, Luban Prize, National Quality Engineering Gold Award, BIM Competition Gold Award, Class I Excellent Research Achievements of Chinese Society of Ideological and Political Work, National Excellent Achievements of Corporate Culture, China-Arab Friendship Contribution Award, Outstanding Contribution Award for China-Saudi Arabia Economic and Trade Cooperation.
